Construction paper

Coffee Filters

Scentos markers

Step 1: First, click here to print out the turkey shapes.

Step 2: Next, grab your coffee filter. Lay it flat and color it in with Scentos markers. No rules here, any color combination, shapes, or designs will do, but make sure to leave some white space for the next step.

Step 3: Once you finish coloring in your coffee filter, grab your water and paint brush and adds drops of water to the coffee filter. Watch as the color spread!

Step 4: Lay it flat to dry. Depending on how much water you used, this can take anywhere from a couple of minutes to 30 minutes.

Step 5: Now that it’s drying, trace and cut out your turkey shapes. You can either trace the shapes onto your choice of construction paper, or cut out and color the printed shapes.

: Last, fold up your coffee filter into quarters and secure it with glue to the back of your turkey. Add googly eyes and a beak and your DIY coffee filter turkey is festive and complete!
